Warm or Cold?

With the weather heating up there is a drink I’m reminded of that I first had when I was in Sedona.  It is equally as delicious warm as it is cold and only 4 ingredients.

4 cups of water, 2 inches of grated ginger root or juice, 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice, 1 tablespoon honey.   Mix all ingredients in a pitcher,  add ice or heat up for a warm ‘tea’.   I use honey to give it a more complex type of sweetness but can easily be swapped for agave instead for a different flavor and glycemic index.
