Very Beginner: Yoga + Meditation

An introduction to the physical practice of yoga for those who have never practiced yoga before or those returning to yoga who would like a refresher. Core yoga principals, the wisdom of it’s philosophy, pose alignment and use of props will create a bridge to your body, the knowledge base to develop your own practice and prep you for practicing yoga with others in a studio class setting. Simple meditation techniques assist you in how to develop a personal practice. This small-class setting is an ideal way to learn the foundation for a safe yoga practice and easeful meditation techniques.
Focus of this workshop will guide you towards understanding:
• Postures (Asana)
• Breath (Pranayama)
• Principals of Yoga
• Meditation
You will be seated for most of this workshop.
Wear comfortable/loose fitting clothes.
Bring a notebook and pen.
